BIOGRAPHY

Decades ago, an old Caribbean widow brought joy to her daughters and grandchildren by steam baking on an open wooden hearth, a moist, succulent, flavorful fruit cake. It was her way of celebrating the weekend and waving goodbye to whatever challenges the week had brought.
Several moons later Sarah Adams, her granddaughter revived the tradition by baking not on a wooden hearth but on a gas stove in a NYC high rise her own version of the treasured fruit cake. In time this festive custom of family, friends, and joy became an entrepreneurial reality under the brand name Ms. Macs West Indian Fruit Cake. Each bite, every slice is a testament to the human spirit and the beauty of life.
And so we encourage you to continue the ritual of celebration, give yourself or your loved ones the gift of good taste!
